Arriving in Claremont

LAX (airport) to Claremont McKenna College

Uber/Lyft (~1-2 hours)

All ridesharing services can be called from the LAX-it lot, located right next to Terminal 1. After the baggage claim area, you can take a bus that will bring you to the centralized lot where you can call your ride.

Public Transportation (~2.5 hours)

The LAX flyaway bus runs every hour from each terminal of LAX to Los Angeles Union Station. From there, you can board the Eastbound San Bernadino line, which stops in Claremont. The train stop is located adjacent to Casa 425.

Driving Directions (~1.5 hours)

From LAX, take the San Bernardino Freeway (I-10) east to Indian Hill Blvd (exit 47). Turn left (north) onto Indian Hill and drive for approximately one mile to Tenth Street. Turn right onto Tenth Street and right again onto Columbia Avenue. Kravis Center is in the second block on the left at 888 Columbia Avenue.

Ontario (airport) to Claremont McKenna College

All ridesharing services can be called directly from the curb of your terminal, right outside of baggage claim.

Head north on S Vineyard Ave toward E Holt Blvd. Turn right to merge onto I-10 W toward Los Angeles. Follow I-10 W to Indian Hill Blvd (exit 47). Turn right onto Indian Hill and drive for approximately one mile to Tenth Street. Turn right onto Tenth Street and right again onto Columbia Avenue. Kravis Center is in the second block on the left at 888 Columbia Avenue.

Head east on W 1st St towards N Indian Hill blvd and turn left. Drive for approximately one mile to Tenth Street. Turn right onto Tenth Street and right again onto Columbia Avenue. Kravis Center is in the second block on the left at 888 Columbia Avenue.

Walking Path to Claremont McKenna College (~25 minutes)

Turn left out of the hotel and walk along 1st street until you hit College Ave. Turn left, and walk until you see Marston Quad on your right (big green open space with a concert hall on one end). Turn right into the walkway through the quad, and walk until you hit the long sidewalk in front of the concert hall. Turn left on the sidewalk, and keep walking past 6th street. Walk along N College Ave until turning right on N College Way. Walk along this sidewalk until you reach The Kravis Center.

To/From Conference Location from Claremont McKenna College

The conference location is Lower Kravis Center, located at 888 N. Columbia Ave. From there, walk under the breezeway and take the stairs down to the lower patio. The stairs are located directly adjacent to the Cube (the large glass box in the middle of a reflection pool).
